Have I mentioned how much I love my best friend, sister, roommate, fellow feminine fashionista Molly Moo?? No, okay. Well, here goes.
I LOVE HER AND APPRECIATE HER MORE THAN I COULD EVER SAY.
I also styled her last week while hanging out before my favorite biweekly event at university... "Wine and Cheese," where we all get to bust out those beautiful and sexy FANCY outfits that we never-get-to-wear-anywhere-else-because-we-are-university-students-and-don't-get-to-go-anywhere-fancy... **I'm not bitter at all**
Molly is wearing this incredible dress that I believe is from Forever 21, but I bought at Random Consignment in Squamish, BC. At first I was worried it was too revealing, and then I realized that I shouldn't be so ashamed to show a certain part of my body when someone with smaller breasts would find it socially accepted...SO I bought it and feel very hot in it. AND MOLLY LOOKS LIKE A FOX IN IT. The shoes are Nine West black suede pumps, that I have had for literal years, but still manage to make it through the rain and mud here in Squam. I gave Molly a winged eyeliner look, using the Sephora palette I talked about in the other posts, and the Burts Bees red lip. Molly found these hoops on the ground outside a party once and felt #blessed. Cuteness is all Molly's. I had nothing to do with that ;)
This is an outfit I planned out for WEEKS before I got to wear. I had always thought I looked awful in yellow, but once I tried on this incredible Deborah Campbell Atelier blazor that I bought from Wildlife Thrift Store in Vancouver, my perception changed. I thought that yellow would wash me out, but in this outfit I felt like an actual vision, and I was confused as to why we say things like that to people. Why would we tell them a colour doesn't look good on them? That is intensely ludicrous because "looking good" is so subjective! I paired the blazer with tan coloured thigh highs, and a pair of shoes that I bought at... you guessed it... Random thrift store, in Squam. I used my Nyx contour kit as lipstick...because I don't own brown lipstick. But, I just treat makeup as if it can go anywhere anyway... so?! ALSO: check out my yellow zipper earrings that I've had since high school...thanks teenage me!
